About Me

My name is Alexander Nailes. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. In 2014 I graduated from St. Anthony High School in Long Beach, CA. After graduating, I continued my education at Lincoln University of Missouri. I majored in Business Marketing and graduated with honors in 2018. During my tenure at Lincoln, I played basketball on their D2 team. As a result, I became the only player on the team to experience the most wins in the history of the school's basketball program. Throughout my time in college, I was involved in many activities. I was able to give back to my school community as President of the Student Government Association, as a member of the residential staff, as a member of the NAACP, and more. I moved back to Los Angeles after graduation. Soon after, I began coaching.
Now I am an insurance broker for Lockton Companies. I currently coach Freshmen, Junior Varsity, and Varsity at Verbum Dei High School. I am also the head coach of the West coast elite National 16's and 17's boys team. 
In 2018, I began individual training for professional and college athletes. In 2020, I started DAWG Pound Fitness. Through my business I do personal training for basketball and all aspects of life. I'm passionate about helping others in life and about helping others reach their happiness. One of the few ways I do this is through fitness. Everything I do is possible with God. He is the driving and constant presence in my life. I am truly Doing Amazing With God (DAWG). I will continue to do this and hold that DAWG mentality with me.
